The “Casa Barbats“, are typical Catalan farmhouses, dating back to the 15th century. They are located in the Berguedà county, in the municipality of Casserres, within the province of Barcelona (Spain).
This masia is a group of four agritourism houses characterised by traditional rural Catalan architecture. It is an agriculture, livestock, and forestry development surrounded by nature where cereals and crops are grown.
At Barbats you can admire the scenery as cows and their cattle graze in fields. As an important part of tradition in Berguedà’s rural diet, we provide the area with responsible, natural meat. We also raise chickens in the traditional way. You can visit our aviary with turkeys, pheasants, doves, ducks, partridges, and much more, including some ponies and pigs.
Only an hour from Barcelona in the foothills of the Pyrenees (the Pre-Pyrenees), and well-connected by transport, it is an ideal environment for an unforgettable getaway.
